A totem is a vertical sign on its own structure, which does not depend on a façade. It stands at the entrance to the business park, the car park or the clinic. It is the first thing a driver reads on arrival. We make lit and unlit totems in sheet metal, ACM and acrylic, fixed to the ground.

What does it include?
Structure and cladding
A steel section frame, cladding in sheet metal, ACM or acrylic and a painted finish, to take sun, rain and wind.
Optional lighting
Back-lit LED faces, with a protected power supply and a connection to the nearest power feed.
Fixing to the ground
A bolted base or a concrete footing, depending on the surface. We check the ground and the cable route before production.

What do people ask before deciding?
How much does an advertising totem cost?
It depends on the height, the number of faces, the cladding and whether it is lit. Send a photo of the site and the height you want on WhatsApp and you get a fixed quote the same working day.
What is the lead time?
The lead time runs from the approval of the design and is written into the quote. The warranty on the structure and on the lighting goes in the same document. The foundation can add days of work on site.
Does Litoral install?
Yes, including the foundation. The same team that builds the totem raises it and wires it up, anywhere in Greater Lisbon.
Do you do site visits?
On a totem we almost always do. The foundation depends on the surface and on the cable route, and neither of those shows in a photo.
How do I pay?
By Multibanco (the Portuguese debit network), bank transfer or card; businesses can ask for 30-day invoicing. The terms are written into the quote.
Do I need a council permit?
A totem on private land, visible from the public highway, may need advertisement consent from the city council. In Lisbon, it is the Câmara Municipal de Lisboa that licenses outdoor advertising. We say in the quote whether your piece needs it, and we handle the application with you.
