Channel letters are letters with depth and their own lighting, built one by one in acrylic, stainless steel, steel or PVC, with front-lit or back-lit LED. We draw the set over a photo of your shopfront, then cut and assemble it in our workshop in Lisbon. The same team installs it and wires it up.

What does it include?
Cutting and assembly
An acrylic or sheet-metal face, aluminium or PVC returns and a back prepared for fixing, cut from the approved vector file.
LED lighting
Modules sized letter by letter, a power supply, cabling and a connection to the power feed. Front-lit, back-lit, or both in the same set.
The design on your own façade
Letter height, colour and finish decided on a photo of the building, before anything is cut.

The number and height of the letters, the face material, the type of lighting, the installation height and licensing.

What do people ask before deciding?
How much does a set of channel letters with LED cost?
It depends on the number of letters, the height of each one, the face material and the installation height. Send a photo of the shopfront and its width on WhatsApp and you get a fixed quote the same working day.
What is the lead time?
The lead time runs from the approval of the design and is written into the quote. The warranty on the letters and on the LED goes in the same document. Letters at height also depend on a permit and on access to the site.
Does Litoral install?
Yes. The same people who build the letters in the workshop install them and wire them up, anywhere in Greater Lisbon. Installation is priced separately in the quote.
Do you do site visits?
We do, when the façade is high, access is difficult or there is no power feed yet. In most cases a photo and the width of the shopfront are enough to settle the design.
How do I pay?
By Multibanco (the Portuguese debit network), bank transfer or card; businesses can ask for 30-day invoicing. The terms are written into the quote.
Do I need a council permit?
A set of letters on a façade may need advertisement consent from the city council. In Lisbon, it is the Câmara Municipal de Lisboa that licenses outdoor advertising. We say in the quote whether your piece needs it, and we handle the application with you.
