Frosted vinyl imitates etched glass: it lets the light through and blocks the view. It goes on office partitions, clinic rooms, glass doors and shop windows that need privacy without going dark. It can be plain, in a band, or cut with your logo and your opening hours.

Cutting the design
Logos, bands and text cut on the Mimaki CJV200-160 from the vector file, with a clean outline.
Applied without bubbles
The glass is washed and degreased, the film laid with a squeegee and water and finished at the frame.
Safety band (manifestation)
A band at eye level on glass doors and partitions, so the glass is seen before it is found.

What do people ask before deciding?
How much does frosted vinyl cost?
It depends on the area of glass and on how much cutting there is: a plain band costs less than a cut logo. Send a photo of the glass and the sizes on WhatsApp and you get a fixed quote the same working day.
What is the lead time?
The lead time runs from the approval of the design and is written into the quote. The warranty on the applied film goes in the same document. Offices under refurbishment often ask for work outside hours, and that goes into the diary.
Does Litoral apply it?
Yes. The same people who cut the film apply it, in an office, a clinic or a shop, anywhere in Greater Lisbon.
Do you do site visits?
We do when there are many partitions, or when the sizes are irregular. For one or two panes, a photo and the size are enough.
How do I pay?
By Multibanco (the Portuguese debit network), bank transfer or card; businesses can ask for 30-day invoicing. The terms are written into the quote.
Do I need a council permit?
Film on interior glass in an office or a clinic is not outdoor advertising and does not usually need consent. If the piece is for the shop window and meant to be read from the street, it may. In Lisbon it is the Câmara Municipal de Lisboa that licenses outdoor advertising, and we say in the quote what is needed.
